Till The Patrol Leaves
Tips: Visit every room. Revisit rooms after performing actions that seem important. The story is told through re-examining things. Try to kill him.
Scroll down for possible routes (warning: spoilers).
WALKTHROUGHS
NORMAL ROUTE - Sig dies if you don't save him before the timer goes from '7 minutes' to '6 minutes'. It takes at least two minutes to save him, so you must get the first-aid kit from the kitchen and return to the entrance before the timer reaches '8 minutes'. Save Sig successfully and explore all rooms. Go back to the entrance and click the options for the window, jacket, and family photo. Then explore all rooms again before leaving. (You don't need to visit all the rooms at once; you can go in any order as long as you save Sig first.)
DEAD ROUTE - To get the regular dead text, click around till the timer goes below 7 minutes before going back to the entrance. Explore all rooms. You can still tell Sig about the window/jacket/family photo as per normal route.
SPECIAL DEAD ROUTE - Get the first-aid kit from the kitchen, but go to other rooms and don't click "go back to the entrance" until the timer reads '8 minutes' OR '7 minutes'. There's special text if you go to the entrance with the first-aid kit at the very moment Sig dies, and it takes at least two minutes to save Sig, so both 8 and 7 minutes lead to the same text. (Everything else is the same as the regular 'dead route'.)
STORY ATTRIBUTION: The student anarchists with bear masks are directly based on a Japanese game series called Dangan Ronpa, although only the general premise applies here. Every game has a different story and place in the timeline, but basically a rebellion happens within a particular school that causes a lot of students to go crazy and wreak havoc on everything. The main characters in this story are original (one is mine and one is my friend's), and basically on the run from their own classmates. In any case, players are not meant to have any knowledge of the series beforehand, as this story is an experiment in revealing narrative information through procedurally editing text. I hope it was effective!
